On July 26, 2022, at its headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, KDI Education Joint Stock Company (“KDI Education”) and IGC Education Group (“IGC Group”) officially signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on the implementation of STEM and artificial intelligence (AI) education solutions across the IGC Schools K–12 system.

Representing KDI Education at the signing ceremony were Mr. Đặng Anh Mai – Chairman & CEO, and Ms. Nguyễn Thị Huyền Trang – Deputy CEO. From IGC Group, the ceremony was attended by Mr. Đinh Hoàng Triều – First Deputy CEO, and Mr. Nguyễn Hồ Trung – Director of the K–12 Division.

Under the signed memorandum, both parties agreed to pursue three key areas of cooperation: delivering STEM and AI education programs across the IGC Schools system based on the digital content platform provided by KDI Education; jointly organizing STEM and AI playgrounds and competitions for students; and co-implementing the STEM – Makerspace project under the “Local Partner” model in upcoming academic years.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Hồ Trung, Director of the K–12 Division of IGC Group, emphasized: “STEM is a strategic educational pillar for IGC Group and the entire IGC Schools system. It equips students with essential skills and problem-solving mindsets. By integrating KDI Education’s STEM and AI solutions into our schools, we expect this to be a long-term, effective partnership, one that is both sustainable and continuously updated to meet the evolving needs of each school year.”

Also at the event, Mr. Đặng Anh Mai, Chairman & CEO of KDI Education, affirmed that this signing marks an important foundation for a long-term, sustainable collaboration between KDI Education and IGC Group aligned with the technological evolution of the education sector and Vietnam’s national strategy for developing a digital-ready workforce.
